I have loaded the following load in 3 different rifles with sub MOA accuracy. 300 Win Mag 180 gr PT 75.0 grs RL 22 W-W case Federal GM215M primer The 180 gr AB would make for a flatter shooter with more retained energy down range due to the higher BC. I am currently using RL-22, Federal 215M primer and 180 AB's. It is working OK but I am looking to squeak all the accuracy I can out of this rifle. Does anyone have any proven "go to" loads for the 300 wm?I have been working with my 300 wsm a lot recently. I have found that h4350 and 180 and 165 partitions are consistently around an inch with most loads. Yesterday day I loaded some 165 Barnes tipped tsx over imr4350 seated a touch shorter than the tikka's mag lenth.It says in the Nosler Reloading Guide 5: "The .300 Win.Mag. has a S.A.A.M.I. maximum overall cartridge length of just 3.340", which allows it to be used in standard length actions. However, we do not recommend seating any of our .30 caliber spitzer bullets to the 3.340" O.A.L. as the bullet will be seated too deep in the case."
