Due to reading forum after forum of problems.( I own about 12 Kimbers) and right out of the box FTF. lodges a round and refuses to go into battery. Just as comment after comment. Tried everything from a and b to buffalo bore. Took apart. Polished everything up. Still same problem. Removed extractor. I have 3 Kimber 10mms. A Custom Eclipse II, a Custom TLE II and a Camp Guard 10. The Eclipse and the TLE were bought new and have run 100%. The Camp Guard I bought used but it looked like it was hardly fired. The salesman told me the guy traded it in on another Kimber. I kinda thought it might have issues and it did.

Hello Atlas, I've owned a Kimber Eclipse in 10MM, a Delta, and other 10s. I much preferred the Kimber in 10MM, with the ramped barrel and very well supported chamber, over the Delta. Still think the Eclipse was one of the best looking 1911 type guns I ever had. But you're certainly right about people not having the best to say about Kimbers.
