Thickness matters for both comfort and concealment. As long as the 26 is not too thick for you then that’s the better choice IMO. If the reason you don’t carry the 19 is because it’s too thick, the 26 is no thinner and not much lighter. Being able to use the same mags is nice. Even if we're taking the Shield arms or PSA mags into account, a G19 is way more shootable with less effort, also while allowing to use the extended double stack magazines. The 48 is an awesome carry gun even stock, but the G19 does more while being worse for carry. Pick your poison. Si vis pacem, para bellum.
