I agree it takes 10 minutes or less to pull the carb on the DRZ. It probably takes an extra minute for me to pivot the subframe. I'm not saying it's necessary. Take out the carb, remove the float bowl cover. Inspect float position - looks fine. When holding the carb upright and letting gravity pull the float valve open, if I blow air into the fuel line, I hear it go through the valve. Posted October 3, 2017. I recently purchased a new 4T lectron Carb for my spare DRZ400SM. First off it took weeks to get as they were waiting or their new, must have billet throttle tubes. Finally got the carb, looked awesome, install was very easy. It fit better than the OEM carb and we wont even compare fit to an FCR.

The knock off fcrs are only $150. Looks to have the correct adapter and manifold. The AP linkage appears to be wired though which shouldn't be done to the MX carb, only the o-ring mod.
