Put a long 19mm or 3/4" box or open end wrench on the hex head on the tensioner and move wrench handle toward front bumper. Open the hood and inspected the area. Sure enough the alternator is off center/tilted. Removed the belt and and the lower mounting bolt was out a bit. Tried to tighten it but it won't. Just kinda tighten but then let go. What I was afraid of has finally happened to me.
