Having now had E2's on the P226, P227, and M11A1/ P229, I can tell you that all three are shaped differently. I didn't really care for them on the P226, but they are outstanding on the M11A1. One of the biggest differences, which you can easily see in photos, is how "undercut" the backstrap of the E2 is on the P226.

The M17/M-18 has replaced it. But as neither the P320, or the M-17/M-18 not being allowed in the Republic of CA yet anyone in CA is SOL.
