I bought the "mod kit that puts a steel bushing in the EGR part of the UIM, and put a smaller diameter pipe in the LIM to give it that air gap between the pipe and the hole where the egr pipe passes thru the UIM.Dunno if that's normal, but I don't think it is. Expectedly, after tearing into it, the LIM gasket is failing. I am looking for a COMPLETE gasket set (including solid aluminum LIM). I was looking at ZZP's "Engine Gasket Set" ($170).
