Pop-up happened to add a trait to the ruler. Three choices based on civics. Choose Authoritarian for High King Trait. No apparent level up in High King Trait. Having this origin and going either Synth Ascension or Genetic Ascension is very strong. The synth path in particular has busted numbers. I consider it to be one of the strongest origins in late game along with Knights of the Toxic God. I've always found it pretty strong, assuming you plan ahead for the events.
