I wondered if there was any difference between aligned flamer barrel and true flamer barrel. So far I have 5, one for each character. Meh, I don't keep mods. You need a beta or gamma capacitor for that to happen, and those mods don’t exist for this weapon. If you want friendly fire on a rifle build, use a normal plasma or laser rifle with one of those capacitors. VATS crits are worthless because no one uses flamers in VATS. Slower breaking is actually kinda good, but A/FFR is just better overall.
